Before you read on, let us draw your attention towards our sister company Pier Pressure, which is an escape room venue in Brighton. We know from experience that an escape room at Pier Pressure is the perfect hen and stag do activity and we would first and foremost like to encourage you to consider it for your group. It is highly immersive and bursting with energy, which is a great ice breaker and will leave your team buzzing.
However, should Pier Pressure be fully booked or you are specifically after an outdoor activity, then do please read on to find out how your hen or stag group can enjoy a Puzzle Parade treasure hunt/escape game.
How it works
We can accommodate up to 60 people, however at weekends, we may have to stagger the groups to accommodate other bookings. We should be able to set a group of 20 people off within 20 minutes; we recommend getting in touch early to make sure we can make this possible for you.
Except for the staggered start, everyone will play at the same time in small teams of up to 5 people and will visit the puzzle locations in a different order to reduce crossover.
Everyone will be briefed together, then every team will receive a coding device, puzzle book and mystery items and set off on their route. We will have several games hosts answering the dedicated clue phone line so that all teams are supported and helped whenever they need it.
The puzzles have been created by escape room experts, are varied and challenging, and will take your group through Brighton past the key sights and points of interest.
Routes are 1-2 miles long so we recommend comfortable footwear.
Competition
You can choose to let teams complete the treasure hunt at their own leisurely pace and enjoy the bonding experience that comes from solving these tricky puzzles together.
You can also add an element of competition by setting teams off at the same time and making the hunt into a race. You can ramp up the competitive element even further by giving teams a score consisting of time vs number of clues given, plus optional bonus points can be dished out to make things more interesting or you can use these to incorporate brand values or messages.
